GETTING STARTED

How do I LOG INto the conference?

Go to TABSConference.net and login in with the same email you used to register. For the best experience, use Chrome as your web browser.

DO I HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER FOR A SESSION?

No, you do not. Your registration allows you to choose from any of the sessions (except the Heads Forum which is exclusive to Heads of School). Just show up to the session when it’s time, much like an on-site conference. 

Do I have to build My Agenda, or is it just a nice-to-have?

It’s completely up to you. You can view the available sessions and select which ones appeal to you and, voila, your agenda is built! 

WILL I BE ABLE TO JOIN A SESSION ONCE IT HAS STARTED?

Yes, you will join the session in progress. If you missed anything, you can access the recording, which should be posted soon after the Conference closes.

MID-CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

I know the conference has begun — is it too late to register and attend the remainder of it?

Never too late! Just navigate to our TABS Community Portal Event Registration section and purchase your pass. TABS staff will be in touch to get you and your team set up. Email Help@TABS.org and someone will respond ASAP to assist.

I think my school bought a Small School Pass. Can I be added to that?

Email Help@TABS.org and someone will respond ASAP. Small School Passes are limited to 6 attendees but your school can add staff beyond that for a fee.

Can you tell me if my school registered for the Conference?

Yes, email Help@TABS.org and someone will respond ASAP to assist.

How can I see who else is attending TABS Conference? Can I chat with them? Can I search for them?

Once you login at TABSConference.net, click on the Connect with Colleagues sign.

I purchased a pass for my school. How can I tell who has signed up from my school?

The person who purchased the registration can log back into TABS Community Portal Event Registration section, click on TABS Conference, then Manage Registration. You will see a list of all attendees from your school. 

Can I transfer a registration to a different person?

Yes. The person who purchased the registration can log back into TABS Community Portal Event Registration section, click on TABS Conference, then Manage Registration.  There’s an option to transfer the registration. However, registration cannot be transferred once an attendee has logged into the conference site. 

How can I provide useful feedback on the sessions?

Each session will follow up with a brief evaluation survey. We welcome all of your comments!

Are sessions going to be recorded?

Yes. They will be posted soon after the Conference and available until January 31, 2021.

Is there a giveaway this year?

Yes! Over $3,000 in sponsor gift cards and prizes will be awarded to attendees! Sponsors will also be giving gifts out at their booths. Visit as many as you can — the more booths you visit, the more chances you have to win. 

HOW WERE WINNERS FOR THE SPONSOR GIVEAWAYS SELECTED?

Because of the unconventional year we’re having, TABS Annual Giveaway is following suit. The winners to the sponsor-supported giveaway you’ll be seeing us announce on screen have been chosen at random. Many sponsors, however, are hosting giveaways of their own. There’s an apple watch, $50 gift cards, and more. All you need to do is peruse the expo hall and visit sponsor booths to see who’s participating. Then, just enter to win!

 

How can I get in touch with one of your speakers to come to our school and present?

If you’re not able to find the speaker’s contact information through their institutional website or by connecting via the conference chat, contact Emily Breite and she will connect you.

For Sponsors

When do I need to have my booth attended?

You don’t! Visitors will message you if they want to chat. There is no live Zoom room you’ll need to wait in or monitor. And remember, we encourage you to attend any sessions that interest you. It’s a great way to mingle with over 2000 attendees! 

What happens when someone sends me a message from our “booth,” or requests a meeting?

You’ll get an email from noreply@conferencecontent.net detailing the contents of the message, along with any other information initially included, such as a proposed time to meet. From there, you can freely communicate with the sender to schedule a time that works for you both.
